Adult Day Services is a community-based program designed to meet the needs of functionally impaired older persons, generally aged 60 and older, through  individualized care plan.  Adult day centers provide a caring, home-like setting for individuals who want to remain in their homes, but need a place where they can come and enjoy social activities and a stimulating environment.

Adult Day Services are:

 

Accessible to the handicapped.

 

Fully licensed by the State of Pennsylvania.

 

Enhancing  the lives of older adults.

 

An innovative way to organize and blend the more traditional health and social services for persons who otherwise have difficulty maintaining their independent living status.

Research findings  indicate: That those persons who use Adult Day Services have exhibited increased levels of contentment, mental functioning, social activity and have reduced rates of institutionalization.
